Intrasquad games started today

I caught about 45 minutes of the Bears' first intrasquad this afternoon at the Ballpark. We've got some young pitchers who bring it - Max Garner looked good for sure. But, the most impressive performance today was from Dan Evatt, a freshman from Grapevine, who went yard twice in just three at bats. Kid is physically impressive and hits the ball a ton! Could help us at the plate this year in a big way.

Did you make HOTO today Doug? I had to miss it. I believe that Volunteer was there though.

Yes, I was at HOTO ... good times. Joey Haynesfurther and Raynor Campbell were the players who "got" to speak. Haynesfurther is an impressive kid.
