Michael texted Brian this morning and said a friend of his confirmed that there is four feet of water in each of our houses. So, the good news of last night was a false alarm. Everything is pretty much gone. Mayor is saying we will not be able to get in until power is restored, which will be 2-4 weeks.

I'm so sorry to hear that, BC. However, I know you remember that things are things and you will replace them. You can't replace people, and you are safe. I thank God for that.

Guy's & Girls, we all know this is going to be a Roller Coaster ride the next few weeks. Lets just all stick together with nothing in mind but our friends on the coast.

Well, my experience has always been when God restores it, it will be better than it was before. Mark my words BC. How are those teeth on the Pookster coming? Did you get the cold rings?

BC & W, it certainly is not altogether good news, but it could be so much worse!
....and as others have said you have us to help when the time comes.

No teeth yet. This is a slow and weird process. Starts and stops. But she still tells me they're coming. And yes, we did bring the teething ring with us. She just kinda doesn't like it. Seems to prefer her hand to all else. And drool.

Isn't it weird how they seem to be about to come on in and then they go back? Facing the same thing here. We had 6 coming in at the same time, two broke through and the rest went back down.
Stay safe and try to make her comfy.
