A few other pictures on the previous Ike thread seemed to confirm that Oceanoso's remains standing.

This after satellite picture confirms it:

Of course, that doesn't tell us the condition of the structure, but that it's there is a plus!

It came from the NOAA updated website:

On a sad note, the damage done to Bolivar, as mentioned before, is absolutely catastrophic.

Entire neighborhoods of homes are completely gone, reduced to nothing but randomly strewn about debris.

It's like nothing I've ever seen.

The building is gone.

Very little on Bolivar made it through. Even the grocery store will have to be bulldozed.

Praying almost all of the CB residents left, but I know they didn't. Someone posted on a blog at all the gifts and merchandise were floating up on the seawall.

Here's a great look into the disaster that is Bolivar:

Brian,

There was a report that they found over 100 bodies inside the grocery store there on Crystal. I read that on a blog somewhere...although even they admitted that it was third (or fourth or fifth) hand information at that time.

I sure hope there isn't any truth to that, but I know that some people stayed.

That is eye-opening flyover footage.

The house my daughter and her roomates rented while at UTMB has survived according to the NOA arial photos.

I applaud anything that survived....I just hoping our friends are going to have some luck as well....

It looks like the house we stay at survived. I can see some roof damage from the sat pics, but everything between it and the beach is gone. Nothing but slabs. It doesn't appear we could get to the house as the roads are washed away.

The bridge over Rollover pass is out as well.

With the news of slight water damage to their house, the picture of OO's looks encouraging, too. This is great news for the Wacoso/BC family.

Wacoso said that he heard water DID get up to the 2nd floor, so it's likely some made it in the building. However, our merchandise was off the floor and stored in the most secure place we could get it in, so it's likely that a lot of it survived.

God is indeed VERY good, TG.
