View Full Version : We're heading to the ISU game

Okay, this pales to everything on the Gulf Coast. I'm catching up on the board to see what I can do from wherever I am.

I don't know whether to throw this into the Football board or not, so just tell the football-only folks we're coming.

It's been like two years since my last Baylor game (Colorado W-OT) and three since my last home game (homecoming-ISU). I'm taking the miss for her first Baylor game, and I'd really love to meet up with folks before, during, and after the game.

We're coming in Friday afternoon (October 10) and leaving Sunday morning (October 12). We're staying north of town, and for those who need photographic proof, our seats are on the blue-hair side, Section I, row 6, seats 7-8.

I'm looking forward to RG3, BUGWB, CAB, and BBQ. If anyone has some good ideers about where to meet and what to do, please reply or PM.

You will find most of us at the Official GGR tailgate, located creekside next to the Grant Teaff Plaza.

NB, would like to (re)meet you and NBL again. Come by the tailgate on gameday.

Also, I'm sure some of us local Wacoans could get something together for Friday night.

So after 12 straight workdays for the both of us, the miss and I will be meeting up in DFW around noon on Friday, October 10.

Do y'all have any reccommendations for somewhere nice and unique (likely casual) I can take her for lunch in the Metroplex? I never made it real far outside of my Waco boundaries at BU, and I'd appreciate some tips yet agayne.
