Would it be possible to advertise this site in the Lariat? We have less than 200 members and if I remember correctly, Doug wanted 500 members by the end of the month... it obviously hasn't happened. We NEED more members that are not only registered, but that also POST on this site. T

Another suggestion... get off the friends and family board and go talk some sports. I love the wolverines, but the sports talk on this site is abysmal. For instance, Oregon St. just upset the number one team in the nation, we had zero in game discussion, and eventually one thread with about 5 posts on the topic.

The typical response would be, "well, if you want sports talk, start the topics yourself" I have, and I get myself, atx, and limnos end up jus having a small discussion with one another. I want to see this site succeed, but right now, I'm still posting on Baylorfans, there are more people with more opinions and more discussion. As much as I love hearing about what yall are eating for dinner, I'm on here to talk sports.

Again, I want this site to succeed, so I don't want this to come across as a gripe... I just get extremely frustrated sometimes. Let's all get together and make this site the best SPORTS site that it can be. Tell everyone you know, encourage them to join and post often.

The Lariat does in house advertising. They have an ad staff. I don't think the rates are too high.
