Looks like some people were doing some research on undervalued stocks over the weekend. I know there has to be some GREAT values out there right now, just nice to see things NOT going to crap for a change.

Staying steady at a gain of around 560 over the last hour or so. Good to see, but just like the election, this ain't over.

Personally think it's a temporary bump. I think the trend back downward will start by the middle of this week, but I hope I'm wrong.

I think a lot of the losses are due to an expectation that Obama will be president and the democratic control throughout our government will lead to a more socialized economy. That will, in turn, hold down the profits of capitalism.
If, however, McCain pulls this out and wins then we could see stocks back up sooner than with Obama in, but not near 14,000 for some time.

I was telling some at the tailgate that I was going to wait about a week and then buy all the stock that I could in anticipation of the increase. It appears that I waited too long.

It appears we all waited too late. 900+ points in one day.
Frankly that's too much gain in one day. I'm ready for some nice steady market performance - not this wild $hi+ we've experienced recently.

I've always believed in sticking it out...even through retirement, but this is ridiculous. I'll see how it plays out, but if things don't calm down and stay relatively calm, I might change my mind.

The futures suggest that the market will be up again today. We'll see. Of late, the indicators are not exactly consistent.
