That's just weird to me. My sister called and said she had been considering Obama but decided to vote for McCain after reading the endorsement in a local paper near San Diego.

That would be a great swing state. Unfortunately, CA has plenty of voters who aren't citizens but will be voting.

Not a surprise at all, SD is a typical republican area, a huge amount of the people living there are military or associated with the military. It is one of the reasons that SD is the most livable city in all of CA.

Even if San Diego voted 100% for McCain, it wouldn't make a difference. California is overwhelmingly Democrat, particularly in the metropolitan areas of Los Angeles and San Francisco.

Yeah, I bring the whole place down a notch. Good thing it's so awesome.

San Diego is a VERY Republican county. In the last presidential election we were the only red county in the entire state.
