#3 OU vs. #6 A&M [Archive] - The Green & Gold Report Forums

I'd like to see OU win because one, A&M would lose, and two A&M couldn't jump us in the polls.

Notre Dame, which is #4, lost earlier in the week and squeaked out a three point win against St. Johns, at home. I think with our wins we had this week against ranked Big 12 opponents, we could move to the #4 spot if OU wins today. If OU loses, we may stay where we are at, could slip a spot. I'd like to see if we could actually be ranked higher than #5 for the first time ever.

Your thoughts?

i guess aggy. they dont need extra motivation for us this wednesday. but we smoked OU twice last year. aggy needs a loss. they're a hard matchup for us with their defense

First because it will make a good friend happy and second because I enjoy seeing A&M lose at anything.

yeah, I agree. A&M needs to be put in their place. They are OVER-RATED.

Yeah every1 knows that ATM is way overrated. If we play like we did against OSU, then we have nothing to worry about. Balanced scoring and perimeter shooting is a dangerous combination. I am looking forward to going to Reed and getting revenge for the blowout from last season. Greggor and I will be there. Is anyone else plan on going? If, so does anyone know if they will have $1 tickets again?

Yeah every1 knows that ATM is way overrated.Last night proved neither team is overrated. Hell of a game. Glad we came out on top. Both teams are very deserving of being top 10 teams.

A&M makes teams play their style and that hurts uptempo teams. It's a great way to even out the talent and make a real game out of it. Last person standing wins!
