Bears Open Season at No. 8

Baylor baseball received its highest preseason ranking in program history Tuesday as the Bears landed at No. 8 in the Baseball America Preseason Top 25. It was the fourth preseason top-10 ranking ever for Baylor, which opened the 2000, 2003 and 2005 seasons at No. 10 in the publication's ranking; the Bears won the Big 12 Conference title in 2000 and 2005, reached a super regional in 2003 and advanced to the College World Series in 2005.

Did I read that right 4 teams in the Top 10 from the Big 12? Whoever ends up winning the conference championship definitely deserves it.
