Aaron Miller's first career grand slam tied the game, and Adam Hornung's RBI double was the game-winner as sixth-ranked Baylor rallied from a seven-run deficit for an 11-8 victory over UAB in Sunday's final game of fourth-annual QTI Baylor Classic. It was the Bears' largest comeback since overcoming a seven-run deficit against Tulane at the 2005 College World Series.

It's great getting a come from behind wins. I'm still not convinced about this team..... Hitting looks much improved but I'm still a little concerned about the depth of pitching. After this weekend I feel better, but this weekend against ATM will tell us a whole lot more.

Man that was fun to be a part of I can tell you that. That was an emotional game. I almost wanted to leave in the 6th but stuck it out and man am I glad I did!!!!
Great comeback tonight by the Bears!!!! The best part was this idiot UAB fan who was talking crap all game until we came back. After Millers grand slam I asked the guy if he had anything to say. He got up and left. What a weenie.
Did you know.....this was Baylor's largest come back win since 2005. :)
Great win Bears. Pics in a few.

That's all for now. We ran out some guys out to the mound imho that won't get much time this year (except Willie Kempf and Brooks Pinckard). The UAB starter was a replacement for a late scratch. The best thing for us was him getting tired. Once he began to wane we really came back from that point. That young man pitched a great first 6 inning or so for UAB. After that it was all Baylor. Aaron Miller's grand slam was beautiful. As the pticher warmed up to face him I told my sons that I had a feeling Miller was going to go yard. One pitch...CRACK...grand slam. Beautiful!

Like who? The only one that likely won't see much time is Kevin Winter. The rest will all be players.
Oh, and the Bears just hit another home run.

Those late home runs were awesome. I think Aaron's blast is still going.

He had a date with the oldest a while back. She said she had a nice time.
