After almost seeing a 16-run lead completely evaporate, Baylor held on for a 22-17 victory Wednesday night at Texas State.

Clearly it was a defensive battle.


We went up two touchdowns and put up a safety early, but they stormed back with two quick touchdowns. Thankfully, we were able to put up two more field goals, while holding them to only one.
