I'll take it. Kendall Volz did not have his velocity at all never throwing over 87 mph. He also had some control problems. He battled through like a warrior though and almost gave us 6 full innings. Aaron Miller came in and had control problems but did not surrender a hit. We pitched well enough to win which is good because those two guys can both pitch better.

It was a fun game. Enjoyed having Grace Anne, Vol and Solan down in the box tonight. As always it was nice seeing Wants. If anyone is interested in a future game let me know. This is a fun team to watch play.

Saw Vol and Grace but must have missed you.

If it hadnt have been for the error up the middle Volz's job would have been much easier.

I'm sorry I didn't come over, I was with my dad. He likes to sit and not move around at the game.

We won't be at the game today, it's mom's birthday and she's said she does not want to watch a sporting event on her birthday. :lol:

Good to see a win. I didn't even get to listen or do gametracker last night.

My son pitched on varsity last night (he's been throwing on JV) and did well. 3 hits, 1 run, 3 strikeouts over 3 innings against the team that will likely win the tourney. Not bad for a Soph. Too bad the kid he relieved gave up 7 in the 3rd, they might have won.

Good for the Bears and good job for your son Chief. Pretty impressive considering the other team had their bats already warmed up.
