I don't know how well this "Professional Sports" is going to work, but let's give it a shot.
Saints go up early on the Cards. 7-0. Brees looks good, Cards defense looks lost. And Cards O-line looked weak on the first drive. I still hate Reggie Bush.
Pre-season football... it's all we got right now.

I am sooooooooooooooooo happy that it is football season. I'd watch pop warner ball if that was all there was.
Viva la football!

I'm finally getting used to Kornheiser(sp?) in the booth. Mainly because he's been semi-bashing Reggie Bush throughout the start of this game... saying the spark is gone, that he can't run between the tackles, that he's been hit with a reality check since leaving USC. Good job Korny.

I used to listen to Kornheiser on the internet feed every day. His nuances take some acclimation but once you get him to love him.

I LOVE him on PTI, but when he initially showed up on MNF he tried to be some sort of lovable goofball, or so it seemed. Glad he's finally becoming more critical of the football he's watching.
Damn, Steve Breaston just caught the ball in open space, he LOOKED fast. I wanted Dallas to pick him up, oh well.

Ok, maybe I'm a bit unclear on the rule. I thought you could NOT assist a player in gaining more yards??? Or is it just getting into the end zone? Fitzgerald was blocking, his rookie RB got stood up by about 3 Saints and he started pushing the runner forward to try and get him in the end zone... I thought that wasn't allowed.

I thought they did away with the assist rule.

And Brunell goes down on a 4th and 1. I used to like the guy at JAX, his career seemed to go downhill pretty fast.
