Showcase Tourney at Baylor Ballpark

Did anyone get to see the showcase tourney at Baylor Ballpark last weekend?

I was curious who won that tourney.

I saw 3 games there.

On Sat I saw the Dallas Mustangs v Houston A's but did not see who won that game.

I was also curious who won the tourney.

Anyone? Buehler? Buehler?

Not sure there was a whole lot of keeping score. It was a nice opportunity for the players to get seen, though. Saw guys from Rice, LSU, and of course Baylor. Plenty of pro scouts as well.

I learned about the Baylor showcase from SouthTexasSliders.com. Just stumbled across it. Was hoping to see Slider teammates and BU commits Vick and Langford, but learned that those kids having already verballed or narrowing their choices likely skipped it. There still looked to be several good looking athletes out there.

There was some serious talent out there. Fun ball to watch.

Josh Ford with Plano West played catcher for the Dallas Mustangs. He had two solid hits against the A's. Man that kid can play and is a junior this year.
