View Full Version : Fred Miller
Well, Fred Miller still doesn't have a team for this season.
But, he may be back on the field shortly. The Bears did offer him a contract - a 1-yr deal worth $830,000 (the veteran minimum).
He also worked out for the Bucs in Tampa Bay today and they offered him a more lucrative contract which Fred is considering.
Hope Fred has a comeback year!

Good luck Fred! It's always good to see a Baylor Bear in the NFL. I think Tampa could use him on that line for sure.

I know that would be the first thing on my mind if I saw a 6'5 300 lb man.

If I remember correctly, the one time I met you I recall you being about 6'5, but nearer the 130 range than the 300 range.
So no. ;)

Fred was closer to 6'7 and he and Gardiner set in front of me in speech and I never saw the chalkboard. They set with a chair in between them and still touched shoulders.

I am 6'3 330.... go for it.
At BU, Fred was 6-7, 290 as a senior and DG was 6-7, 328. Still, to this day, DG is one of the top 5 most ridiculous athletes I've ever seen in a Baylor uniform. Going into his senior year, when they did the measurables right before Fall camp, he was 6-7, 328 with 4% body fat. He ran a 4.79 forty and had nearly every weight lifting record on the team. Was benching nearly 500, squatting 800+ and deadlifting well over 1,000. It was insane.
As an aside, some of the other guys in that list of most ridiculous athletes that I've personally seen in the BU uniform include Clifton Rubin, Ben ***, James Francis, Jerod Douglas, Chris Francis and Kendall Wright.

A certain someone on the other board told me I was an "i-d-i-o-t" after I said someone with the Bears told me Miller would not be back after his contract was up. Since I KNOW we arent allowing that someone to post on here, this is my "I told you so!"
Now, with that out of the way, I hope he gets picked up soon. Seems like a really cool dude.

Now anyone who cares to know, knows why I only made it through one practice with pads for the Bears.
