Solan, did you catch the premiere of Feasting on Waves this week? I missed it. Someone watches too much football around here and it cuts into my AB time.

Any lowdown on AB on a boat is appreciated.

Is this some kind of code? My limited sports-dominated brain doesn't understand it.

I missed it, actually. I'm trying to find it on demonoid and the Tivo is now set for the rest of the series. Looks good!

Lim, this is a show on Food Network, a sequel to Feasting on Asphalt where Alton Brown travels and eats local, good food. It's more about the journey and the people than the food.

Gotcha. I prefer that guy on Discovery who will eat anything. :D

I saw an episode of this show. Very cool. What a cool way to spend a summer that would be.

That guy has made me want to deposit the contents of my stomach on my coffee table on more than one occasion. :crying:

Are you talking about Bear Grylls or Andrew Zimmern? I tried to find AB's crash on youtube but had no success.

Yeah,...he was eating guinea pigs one day...called them cuy...that turned my stomach

I won't watch Andrew Zimmern. Those foods are TOO bizarre. On the other hand, Wacoso and I LOVE Anthony Bourdain's No Reservations. One of the best shows on cable.

Good call on DVRing Feasting on Waves. Think I will do the same, Solan.

In case you can't get enough Alton Brown, he did an interview with a local morning show last week here in SD:

It was Zimmern that I was talking about. The bald guy.

Even though Aton Brown has a vast knowledge of foods and cooking, I just can't stand him. Good Eats is horrible and he is extremely hyper, but I don't mind him hosting Iron Chef America.

Good Eats is horrible.

I know I've never met you, but I just want you to know - you are completely dead to me.

There is no emoticon to properly express how hard I am laughing.

And Good Eats freakin' rules.
